 There is only one solution for this unfinished rebellion by São Paulo's organized crime. And as difficult as it is to be adopted it would give back to Paulistas a minimum of peace of mind to go out on the streets. And the solution it to bring in the Armed Forces to repress one of the most shocking shows of animality Brazil has ever seen.
It would be necessary that governor Cláudio Lembo accept the idea to ask Brasília to send in the Army, the Navy and the Air Force to take over the whole state. Without forgetting the Marines. They would not only serve as police in the streets of the capital and main cities, but would also invade rebellious prisons and would act preventively in other establishments where the situation is still normal. They have to make a show of force. Without this public authority would have no authority and it would be better to turn over the Bandeirantes' Palace (the governor's office) to the drug lord Camacho and his seven cronies. Even locked in the maximum security prison of Presidente Venceslau, or in any other place for that matter, the chiefs of the organized crime will continue instructing their thousands of pals in prison or in liberty to continue to live in debauchery and in disrespect of the institutions. There is information that many of the 2,000 prisoners who had been freed by the courts to spend Mother's Day at home are using their time to attack and kill indiscriminately policemen and other citizens. It's the supreme irony, better yet, it's the supreme tolerance of crime by the law and the Justice. If it's true that the bandits get their cell phones, drugs and even weapons through visitors who come to see them those visits should be suspended indefinitely. If they receive such material from bad penitentiary agents and from policemen in charge of watching them, then this gang should be locked behind bars. If they use a thousand legal resources given by the Penal Code to get rid of their sentences, it's the Penal Code that should be revoked. What can't be done is to let things continue the way they are. If we cannot accept the idea that the only good bandit is a dead bandit at least we should accept the truth that a good bandit is the one who is in jail and tied up. The Armed Forces are ready to answer to an eventual request by the São Paulo government. Instead of embarrassing and weakening the power of the state would only be strengthened by such a request. Cowardice Inconsistent, extemporaneous, without proof or evidence, slanderous, defamatory, injurious, above all coward. It was with these adjectives that Brazilian capital Brasília reacted to the weekly newsmagazine Veja report, denouncing the existence of a Lula's bank account overseas. The main parties' leaders, even those from the opposition, understand that the published material is just a collection of garbage that have no weight as a serious charge or accusation. Naturally, if there were proof to the contrary, the Congress would have to intervene, but the way everything was presented the impression we have is that all of this is nothing more than another idiosyncrasy on the part of the press against the government and the Workers' Party (PT). Both made monumental mistakes, both wallowed themselves in the mensalão (big monthly allowance) scandal. But to go ahead and announce the existence of a bank account overseas goes a huge distance. This involves irresponsibility and crime by the press. All the coverage is based in characters who have been linked more to crime than to the economy and politics. From Daniel Dantas to the former CIA agent Frank Holder, both cited in the story, nobody in their right mind would buy a used car. The same goes for some hacks who call themselves journalists. The latest information suggests that the government is going to act firmly within the limits defined by the law. Without sacrificing freedom of expression, the Justice Department, the Attorney General, the Federal Police and the Public Defense Ministry are getting ready to demand that those responsible for the accusations show proof of their charges. The irony of the story makes us think about another one, a few years back, when bandits forged the existence of a secret account involving former President Fernando Henrique Cardoso, late São Paulo governor Mário Covas, São Paulo mayor José Serra and other members of the past administration. The charges demoralized their creators, the same way these accusations seem to have done. As incredible as that may seem, the oppositions are the ones that will lose the most, because this story is a strange object, and it's worth to repeat, essentially coward, amidst serious investigations and charges concerning scandals that have been probed. It even looks like something done by someone who wishes to help Lula get reelected president. I propose an armed government organization that would kill corrupt politicians and criminals, starting by Cludio Lembo and going all the way up to Lula.
The project should go to Lula's office and as he cannot read properly, he would sign it and the revolution would start.
